Romans 9
Romans 10
Romans 11
Parts of Romans 9-11 have been adopted by various theological groups to support their chosen doctrines. But what is the context of ALL of these chapters and what is Paul REALLY addressing.

“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.” (Jesus)

Thanks for the link, I'm looking forward to listening to the series.
G’Day Kevin,
Hope you find them worthwhile.
I think Pawson brings a lot of light to Romans as a whole and to chapters 9-11 in particular.
I’ve heard a lot of his teaching and find he is one of the most biblically sound ministers I’ve come across. Mostly because I’ve often heard him stress the need NOT to believe what he says, but to take what he says and diligently measure it against scripture.
The “problem” with a lot of his teaching is that he rarely gives convenient "chapter and verse" references (but he will give the book)so it’s necessary to put a bit more work into searching the scriptures than is usual with most preachers. While this may be a problem for some, it discourages the lazy reliance on proof texts that many preachers exploit.
Tim
